NEWCOMER

If you're new to Alcoholics Anonymous, we’re glad you’re here. You may be feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or simply curious — and that's completely okay. Many of us felt the same way when we first walked through the doors of A.A.

This section is here to help you learn what A.A. is, how it works. Whether you're exploring the idea of sobriety, wondering if your drinking might be a problem, or looking for support for a loved one — you are not alone.

A.A. is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength, and hope to help each other recover from alcoholism. There are no fees or obligations. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Take your time. Explore. Ask questions. And most importantly — keep coming back.
